waxShapes®

waxShapes®: the central result of extensive research and development processes, gathered from many turnkey solution projects. It refers to a sound absorbing material.

For the first time ever, highly effective broadband absorption is achieved through the use of an effective parallel connection of a resonance absorber with a porous absorber, made up of a unique, innovative and homogenous material consisting of pure polyester. A room which is equipped with this technology, provides high quality room acoustics.

Through the use of waxShapes® it is now possible for nearly any environment to meet professional demands in acoustics, which was previously reserved for sound studios or high-end mastering rooms. Lightweight and easy to process waxShapes® can be combined to create any number of shapes. waxShapes® do not break and can be thermoformed, bent and perforated. It is possible to print on them, paint on them, add surface structure and plaster over them.

An acoustically transparent paint is available in all RAL colours, even for small-quantity orders. On request, the waxShapes® can be dyed and the colour does not go just skin deep: every panel is dyed down to the last fibre, a quality that shows. The fibre-composite materials used are also environmentally safe and recyclable.

MFG-SOUNDABSORBER

The micro foamed gap absorber (MFG-Sound Absorber) provides novel design possibilities in architectural cases which require materials with increased incombustibility and mechanical properties.

MFG-Sound Absorbers are powder coated steel panels and are available in all RAL colours.

The properties of the surface resemble a grain pattern or a fingerprint which makes it ideal for application in minimalistic architecture. This pattern can be adapted from the clients’ input, such as a picture, using complex acoustical calculations to design a subtle look-and-feel on a hard surface.

New computing operations permit the application of pattern sequences which can also be found in nature.

When arranged on a plane hard surface (e.g. metal, glass, or derived timber products) the pattern sequences provide an increased sound scattering and sound absorption.

The Polymatrix-Diffusers are ideal for circumstances where there is a need for homogeneous sound distribution.

Individual patterns can be developed according to clients’ requests.
